Karan V Grover is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the television and film industry. He is famous for his acting work in Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni from 2007 to 2008, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki from 2007 to 2009, Hum Aapke Hain In Laws in 2013, and Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant from 2016 to 2017. He also debuted in Bollywood with the 2015 romantic-comedy film Wedding Pullav as Jay.

Birth & Family

Karan V Grover was born on 22 June 1982 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to a well-to-do Sikh family. He is son of Vipin Grover and Rekha Grover. He has a younger brother in the family. Karan did early education from St. Xavier’s High School and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Vidyalaya. He completed his graduation from the Institute of Technology, Mumbai, in Chemical engineering and the National Institute of Event Management in event management.

Career

Karan started his career with the television drama series Saarthi as Arjun Goenka from 2004 to 2007. He acted in the horror-supernatural serial Ssshhh…Phir Koi Hai as Adi in episode 7 in 2006. From 2007 to 2008, he got featured in the television show Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni as Raj Malik opposite to Ashima Bhalla aired on Star Plus.

Karan later played the role of Rishabh Rathod, Rani’s first husband, in the series Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki Season 3 from 2007 to 2009. Meanwhile, he starred in the dramatic serial Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli as Karan Prasad and Ranchod (double role).

In 2013, he performed as Gulshan Grover in the fictional-comedy series Hum Aapke Hain in Laws. The story focuses on a newlywed couple who purchase their dream home alongside their in-laws. He played the lead role in the serial Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant as Shantanu Kant, a scientist who creates Rajni, a robot, aired on Life OK from 2016 to 2017. He appeared in the series Udaariyaan as Angad Maan from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, he did a series Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai as Ritesh Malhotra.
