Gayatri Gauri is a talented Indian scriptwriter and actress hailing from Mumbai, Maharashtra. She achieved success in 2019 when she starred as Ronjona in the drama series Criminal Justice. In 2023, she once again gained recognition for the role of Madhumalti Raizada in Sony TV’s romantic serial Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, released on 10 April 2023. Aside from her acting career, she worked as assistant director of the comedy-drama film P Se PM Tak in 2015, proving her versatility as a talented artist.
Biography
Gayatri Gauri was born in Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand. She is an impressive individual with a variety of accomplishments and experiences under her belt. Gayatri received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Miranda House Delhi University and additionally underwent rigorous training in mass communications at the Xavier Institute of Communications in Mumbai.
On top of that, Gayatri obtained specific film writing training with a renowned writer in Los Angeles. Her work experience prior to joining the film industry includes two years as a special correspondent for Mid-Day Info Media Ltd. and then a further period as a producer for Star News in Mumbai. No doubt her great array of skills makes her an invaluable asset to the Indian media industry.
After then, Gayatri turned into a Director and has had success, with her spec scripts being shortlisted for the Asia Pacific Screenplay Awards. Her passion for film direction was ignited by her short film which was a finalist in the reality show Gateway to Hollywood on the SonyPix channel.
In 2019, she featured in Hotstar’s crime thriller series Criminal Justice where Gayatri appeared as Ronjona. The series was a remake of the 2008 British TV series named Criminal Justice. After that, she worked in many televisions commercial ads. Later in 2023, Gayatri got an opportunity for working in Sony TV’s romantic drama serial Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum as Madhumalti Raizada released on 10 April 2023.
