Biography
Priya Ahuja was born on 16 October1992 in Delhi, India and completed her studies there. Afterward, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress.
In 2008, Priya started her career on the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, in which she took on the role of Rita Reporter. Her performance was well-received and helped launch her career, earning her immense popularity. After getting popularity, Priya appeared in Hindi television serial Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah as Sanjana, Shubh Vivah as Shikha Nigam and many more.
In 2009, Priya made her entrance into the film industry with the movie The Stoneman Murders, portraying the role of Rukksana. This biopic was based on the true story of The Stoneman serial killings that caused a media uproar in Bombay during the early 1980s. In same year, she also appeared in Mahesh Nair’s film Accident on Hill Road where she played a guest role.
Priya’s fame has been renewed due to her remarkable performance in the Star Plus serial Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Her presence has made the show stand out and become even more popular.
