Biography
Kim Cruse was born on February 20, 1992 in a small rural town Woodville, Texas into a musical family. Her father served as the church’s pastor and worship leader. She has performed in choirs throughout her school life. After high school, Kim started singing with cover band Flavor Band and began posting songs on her social media accounts. As a result, she finally received a scholarship to Stephen F. Austin State University.
Her social media video where covering of “Jesus” by Le’Andria Johnson went viral in 2018. She gained almost 2 million views and landed a short tour with gospel singer John P. Kee. Shortly after that, Kim won online singing competition “Race to the Blue” and was featured on YouTube’s The TERRELL Show. In 2022, she got opportunity to perform on the stage of The Voice 22 aired on NBC.
