Clarks Summit native Alyssa Lazar is an accomplished content creator, songwriter, and singer. She gained recognition for her participation on the 23rd season of NBC’s vocal competition “The Voice”, where she was mentored by the esteemed Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan.

Who is Alyssa Lazar?

Alyssa has been surrounded by music since a young age, learning to sing at the age of 3 and piano at the age of 8.

While attending Abington Heights School, she often performed weekly shows around the Scranton, PA area. After graduating from Abington Heights in 2017, Lazar moved to Nashville, to study commercial music with a songwriting emphasis at Belmont University. Her impressive performances led her to open for Edwin McCain twice in 2022 and perform in prestigious venues such as The Blue Bird Café in Nashville and The Bitter End in New York.

Career

Alyssa Lazar is making waves of her own in the music industry with her catchy pop-rock hits. She is carving out her own path as a “Nash Vegas Showgirl” with her latest project “Hopeless Romanticism”.

Her single, “Maybe I Did Change”, has garnered more than 100K streams on Spotify.

Two other singles from the EP, “The One He Told You Not to Worry About” and “Maybe I Did Change,” are also available to stream.

Her single “Sick Feeling” released in September was produced and written by Alyssa herlself, showcasing her impressive talents.

Some of her major musical influences include Elvis Presley, Queen, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga and Elton John. Alyssa has successfully managed to combine these influences into her own unique sound, gaining her a growing fanbase.

About the Season 23 of The Voice:

The Voice returned with a brand new installment. This season will feature some of the best and brightest singing talent from all over the country, as well as a star-studded line-up of coaches which include Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Chance The Rapper and OG coach Blake Shelton who will be bidding farewell to his long-time tenure after this season.

The Voice is sure to be an exciting and entertaining ride for viewers everywhere. Each episode will see contestants battling it out to impress one or more of the coaches in order to move to the next round. For those that are chosen by more than one coach, they must use their charm and talents to convince the judges on why they should be part of their team.

This year’s installment is bound to be exciting as the show features an array of unique contestants from different walks of life and cultures. Each week the stakes will get higher as contestants give it their all with the hopes of making it through to the finals.
