Sritama started her career by first appearing in Agnipariksha as Binni which aired Zee Bangla TV channel in the year of 2009. She subsequently worked some serials like Basabdatta Chatterjee as Devi Sati and Guriya Jekhane GUddu Sekhane Mohua alongside Jettu Kamal and Arya Dasgupta. Sritama came limelight form the supporting role of Agomoni in romantic drama serial Prothoma Kadambini aired on Star Jalsha’s TV channel.
In 2022, Sritama rose to prominence in Zee Bangla’s romantic drama serial Sohag Jol where she was seen as female protagonist Ankita alongside Lopakudra Sinha and Shweta Bhattacharya. The serial is directed by Suman Das and Sumalya Bhattacharya.
