Yogita Chavan was born on 9 March 1994 in Thane, Maharashtra to a Maharashtrian Hindu family. Her father’s name is Dattatray Khandu Chavan and mother’s name is Vidyadevi Chavan. She also has an elder brother in the family. Chavan completed her schooling from S. B .M.Padwal Vidyalaya English Medium School and later came to Mumbai to pursue graduation from S K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Career
Chavan began her career as a model and become first runner of Maharashtra Times Shravan Queen 2016. Meanwhile she was associated with several modeling agency and started working in television commercials. In 2018, she got her first major breakthrough with Marathi film Gavthi directed by Anand Kumar Konnar. She was seen opposite to Shrikant Patil in the lead role of Gauri. Later she also appeared in television serial Jaadubaai Jorat and Navri Mile Navryala in the year 2018-19.
In 2021, Chavan played the role of Antara Shitole in Colors Marathi television show Jeev Majha Guntala opposite to Saurabh Choughule.
