Ritesh Pandey was born on 14 May 1991 in Sasaram district of Bihar, into a family that did not have much economic stability. As a result, he spent his childhood living in poverty. When he was young, his father moved to Varanasi, and Ritesh followed him to enrol in the same school where his father taught. There, he began learning classical music at age five, which sparked his interest in singing.

Ritesh began releasing songs after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in music from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidya Peeth University in Varanasi. He became popular with ‘Karua Tel’. He enjoyed considerable success in the Bhojpuri industry, both as an actor and singer. Today, he has made a name for himself in Bhojpuri films and remains well-known in the industry.
