Neil Salsich is an American singer, songwriter, teacher and guitarist. He is best known for participating in NBC’s television singing reality show The Voice Season 23. The show is coached by Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan. He is originally from St. Louis.

Birth & Family

Neil Salsich born and brought up in St. Louis. He is 35-year-old. His mother’s name is Stephanie Craft Salsich. He has two younger sister named Lizzie Salsich and Maya Salsich.

Career

A native of South St. Louis, Neil was interested in music from an early age. At the age of six, he figured out how to operate his dad’s stereo to listen to “Ramblin’ Man” on repeat.

Neil made his first musical performance at Hartford Coffee Company when he was just sixteen. In 2012, after returning from college, he formed Acoustics Anonymous, a band with dreams of performing locally.

Four years later, Neil changed the band name to The Mighty Pines, had taken the country by storm, selling out St. Louis’ The Old Rock House and infusing his genre-spanning music with elements of country, folk, bluegrass, funk, soul and jazz.

Salsich performed Hank Williams’ “Honky Tonk Blues” during The Voice Blind Auditions. He got four chair turn and later decided to join Team Blake.

When he’s not out performing his signature country twang with his band, you can find him singing his heart out in local restaurants, cafes and wine bars around town.


About the Season 23 of The Voice:

The Voice returned with a brand new installment. This season will feature some of the best and brightest singing talent from all over the country, as well as a star-studded line-up of coaches which include Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Chance The Rapper and OG coach Blake Shelton who will be bidding farewell to his long-time tenure after this season.

The Voice is sure to be an exciting and entertaining ride for viewers everywhere. Each episode will see contestants battling it out to impress one or more of the coaches in order to move to the next round. For those that are chosen by more than one coach, they must use their charm and talents to convince the judges on why they should be part of their team.

This year’s installment is bound to be exciting as the show features an array of unique contestants from different walks of life and cultures. Each week the stakes will get higher as contestants give it their all with the hopes of making it through to the finals.
