Anjita Poonia started working in theatre from college days, she used to participate in stage shows. In 2017, she went to Delhi for banking coaching, where she auditioned and got selected in the ‘Chidiya Ghar’ serial. She played the role of Gajgamini/Gaj in the show afterwards, she was seen as Alina Shahbaz Ahmed on the Zee TV show Ishq Subhan Allah. Anjita appeared as Milky opposite to Mohit Malik in the Star Plus TV show Lockdown Ki love Story in 2020.
